WELCOME TO FELLOWSHIP IN CHRIST CHRISTIAN CHURCH!
We are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic evangelical community of Christians in Southern Illinois.
Our mission is to love God, love others, and make disciples.
Our vision is to be a God-glorifying, Jesus-following, Spirit-filled, Bible-believing, gospel-centered, mission-minded body of believers who are committed to serving others and are the catalyst for the kingdom of heaven being experienced in our neighborhoods and the nations.
Please do not worry about what to wear! For we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through the work of Jesus Christ. When you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear suits, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore one. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.
Visit our Connect Center! It is stationed in the front foyer as soon as you walk in. The members of our Connect Team will be there to serve free coffee and doughnuts every Sunday morning. The Connect Center is the perfect place to find out all there is to know about our church. The Connect Team will also be handing out Connect Cards and giving away gifts to new visitors as a way of saying thanks for visiting us.
During the service - relax! Jesus loves you and so do we! Our Sunday morning worship service is meant to help you encounter and experience God by supporting the work of His kingdom by giving, singing His praises, partaking communion, hearing a relevant message rooted in Scripture, and praying for one another. Our service begins at 10:30AM and usually lasts for about an hour. We praise God for the freedom to come and worship Him as a family every Sunday.
For those with kids, we offer ministry opportunities from newborn to 4th grade! We invite you and your children to join us in worshiping God. Childcare is provided for all ages at every service, but you are always welcome to have them stay with you as well.
If you have any additional questions or would like to get connected with our kid's ministries, the Connect Center will be open to assist you with anything you need.
Our church is located at 1204 Pin Oak Drive Carterville, IL 62918, and parking is in front of the church.
If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.
